Frequently Asked Questions
Do all UTVs have the enclosed option with heat and A/C?
Enclosed cabs with heating and air conditioning are available on select models and are offered year-round. Ask our staff about availability when you arrive or mention it in your booking — we'll do our best to match you with a climate-controlled vehicle.
Is gas included?
Yes! All rentals come with a full tank of gas. We ask that you return the vehicle with the same level of fuel. If you use more than half a tank, a fuel charge will be applied.
Who can drive?
All drivers must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license. Passengers of any age are welcome. Our staff will provide a quick orientation before your departure.
If I return early will I receive a refund?
Rentals are priced by the time block reserved, not by actual usage. Early returns do not receive a partial refund. We encourage you to take the full time and explore everything the Smokies have to offer!
Is there a deposit?
We require a valid credit card on file. A hold may be placed at the time of rental which is released upon return of the vehicle in its original condition.
Where can I park my personal vehicle?
We provide free parking at our facility for the duration of your rental. Your vehicle will be safe and secure while you're out exploring.
What payment options can I use to rent a vehicle?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as cash. We do not accept personal checks.
What is your cancellation or weather policy?
We understand mountain weather can be unpredictable. If we determine conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule or refund your rental. For customer-initiated cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome to ride along. Please keep them secured while driving. Note that some areas of the National Park require pets to be on a leash, so be sure to follow park rules during your adventure.
Do I need a reservation for the UTV?
No planning ahead required! Walk-ins are welcome and we'll match you with the right vehicle for your group. That said, reservations are recommended during peak season (May–October) and holidays to guarantee availability.
Are all vehicles automatic?
Yes, all of our UTVs and golf carts are automatic transmission. They're intuitive to drive — if you can drive a car, you can drive our UTVs.
Where can I drive the UTVs?
Our street-legal UTVs can be driven on all public roads in and around the Smoky Mountains — including Cades Cove Loop, Newfound Gap Road, Roaring Fork Motor Trail, and more. We provide offline maps so you always know where you're going, even without cell service.
